Coldstream

After we left Berwick Upon Tweed we followed the Tweed River, stopping at Coldstream (just over the border in Scotland).  The day was calm and a fisherman was fly fishing in the river.  We stopped at the plaque beside the bridge where Burns first stepped into England, fell on his knees and recited four lines from his poem beginning “Oh, Scotia…”
